You start off unconsciously incompetent (you dont know you dont know), then you become consciously competent (you know you suck but have no idea what to do about it) after some quite a bit of learning you become consciously competent (you know what to do but goddam if you only did). Then only after a lot of practice you become unconsciously competent (....)
